What is success? Many of us spend our lives desperately trying to achieve it, in our career, at school, in our families, relationships and even in ministry. We are constantly told we can be the best, we are special, we can do anything, be anything. Why then does success so often elude us, and why is failure so soul-destroying? The 'parable of the talents’ reframes success from a Kingdom perspective. Success, in the eyes of Jesus, is faithfully stewarding the gifts that HE has entrusted to us, to reap a harvest.
