The prophets we have studied so far in our current series have all delivered mixed messages of judgement and restoration. Habakkuk is quite different. His short book records a dialogue with God about evil and God's plans to deal with it.
God's answers to Habakkuk's questions are strikingly relevant today, as is the prophet's final response. These are indeed "holy words, long preserved, for our walk in this world".
