Tuesday Church

10am

We meet at 10am in the church Auditorium.

We look forward to meeting you at an upcoming Tuesday Church.

Community Choir

10:30 – 11:30am

2nd and 4th Wednesday during school terms

Our Community Choir is for Seniors in the Hornsby Community, you don’t have to attend TCBC to join.

No skills are required, just a desire to have fun singing together.

Followed by a time of community as we enjoy morning tea together.

Cost $5 per week.

Around The Table

10am

2nd and 4th Thursday of the month

Around The Table offers a friendly morning tea chat and activities around the table, for those isolated or living with dementia and their carers.

Located in the Greenhouse at Thornleigh Community Baptist Church. Parking is available behind the church Auditorium.

Exercise Class

10am Wednesdays

A qualified instructor runs our weekly gentle exercise class for Seniors.

Located in the Activities Centre building, corner of Duffy Ave and The Esplanade.

Seniors’ Outings

Various times throughout the year

At various times throughout the year our seniors head out on adventures together to experience new places and times of community.

2025 saw our seniors head out on the Nepean Bell Paddlewheeler, explore the Edogawa Japanese Gardens on the Central Coast and visit local cafes together.

Annual Seniors Events

Biggest Morning Tea

Over May and June, a variety of Seniors’ groups enjoy the Biggest Morning Tea together to raise funds for the Cancer Council.

Thank you to all who contributed to our Biggest Morning Tea in 2025. Together we raised $3 705 towards Cancer Council.

Dementia Forum

Annual Event

Our Dementia team organise an annual dementia forum for our wider community to attend. Come along to hear about dementia, the effects of dementia, recognise early signs and how you can support someone who is going through dementia.

Seniors’ Christmas Lunch

To wrap up the year, our Seniors gather for their final Tuesday Church and celebrate with a Christmas Lunch.

The morning will include performances from our Community Choir, Mainly Music, loved Carols and more. They wear something Christmassy and bring a plate to share. We can’t wait for our 2026 Christmas Celebration.
