May Mission Month 2025

Each year at the end of the month of May, TCBC collects an offering to support 3 different Mission projects as part of May Mission Month. Below are the projects that we are supporting in 2025 and information for how to give.
Let’s be in pray for these different projects over the month of May.

Funds from the TCBC May Mission Appeal will assist the people in Kuybyshev to
convert a factory into their own church
Kuybyshev is a town of 45,000 people in Siberia, surrounded by Russian and Tatar villages.
The Cornerstone church in Kuybyshev was planted eleven years ago. It is now pastored by Dmitry Bolbat. The church has grown and needed to purchase its own building. They currently meet in a rented hall.
An excellent opportunity arose to purchase a large workshop/factory in the town. The state of disrepair meant that the price was low. A number of men in the church are skilled renovators, which makes it the ideal situation for the church.
The building will need to be cleared of old factory equipment, repaired and modified to become their church.

Funds from the TCBC May Mission Appeal will assist Philoi Global with
its support for persecuted believers
In many parts of the world, persecuted minorities are forcibly displaced from their homeland because of persecution. Refugees, especially persecuted minorities, often encounter countless challenges in their search for safety.
Philoi Global is providing life-saving relief through accommodation support and food aid. Your tax-deductible donation can bring hope and stability to our persecuted and displaced brothers and sisters.
Philoi Global is currently supporting around 160 Afghan Christian families in Pakistan, and we know that thousands of other persecuted ethnic and religious minorities are also at risk.

Funds from the TCBC May Mission Appeal will go towards supporting Kwinkya College
with current operating expenses
Kwinkya College provides competency based training in Tok Pisin for village pastors who serve in the Baptist Churches in Papua New Guinea. It prepares church planters and missionaries for service in PNG. It provides literacy and basic theological training for local pastors.
The college is run by the Baptist Union of PNG. It is about an hours drive from Mt Hagen in Papua New Guinea.
The students come from village settings in the surrounding highland areas. Many of the students come from poor village situations often with limited education. Our support will be in areas such a subsidising students, funding ongoing training of lecturers, internet coverage for the Bible College and building maintenance.
