May Mission Month 2026
Each year at the end of the month of May, TCBC collects an offering to support 3 different Mission projects as part of May Mission Month. Below are the projects that we are supporting in 2026 and information for how to give.
Let’s be in prayer for these different projects over the month of May.

Funds from the TCBC May Mission Appeal will assist Philoi Global with its
support for persecuted believers
In many parts of the world, persecuted minorities are forcibly displaced from their homeland because of persecution. Refugees, especially persecuted minorities, often encounter countless challenges in their search for safety.
Philoi Global is providing life-saving relief through accommodation support and food aid. Your tax-deductible donation can bring hope and stability to our persecuted and displaced brothers and sisters.

Funds from the TCBC May Mission Appeal will assist with the running of the Reading Gardens program through Baptist Missions Australia
The Reading Garden Programs are run in small villages in SE Asia.
Through the reading garden program the team:
- gain access to these villages with a natural identity that makes sense to local people and the government and is welcomed by them
- collect health data related to kids which we share with the education and health departments on the development of the kids and work with them to improve outcomes
- help kids grow more confident in themselves and recognise they have value
- improve literacy levels so the kids will hopefully stay in school longer
- get to know parents of kids and talk to them about holisitc development
- engage in spiritual conversations

Funds from the TCBC May Mission Appeal will go towards supporting PNG Theological Education through Baptist Mission Australia
Kwinkya college, located in the Baiyer River Valley of Papua New Guinea, provides competency-based theological training in Tok Pisin to equip village pastors for service in Baptist Churches. Kwinkya aims to prepare local church leaders for ministry in Tok Pisin. It draws students from Baptist Churches all over PNG , from a range of Provinces, tribes and language groups and is a wonderful intercultural discipleship and learning environment. Their training last 3 years which includes a 6-month practical in a local church.
