KidsGames
KidsGames is a sports and games outreach programme for children across a suburb, district or city. KidsGames is run in over 150 countries on a regular basis.
Headen Park Thornleigh and TCBC facilities are the venues for our annual KidsGames holiday club.
The action takes place from 9am-12:30pm, Monday to Friday for one week in the July school holidays, followed by a spectacular Family Fun Night Closing Ceremony on the Friday night, when we may join together with other district groups who have been running KidsGames too.
So what’s the recipe for this ‘wild’ holiday experience?
- Lots of excited and active kids
- Lots of committed and ‘child friendly’ leaders
- Lots of fun games to play
- Challenging sports
- Drama group to present Bible stories
- Small group Bible Discovery times
- Creative activities
- Compassion project
- Food
- Large oval and/or auditorium
- Good weather (most of the time!)
Yes, mix all the above together and the result will be a holiday experience that the children and leaders will remember for a long time.

What we would like you to do is PRAY! Give thanks to God for the gifts and talents you have been blessed to have. ASK him what it is he would have you offer in service to His mission of building the Kingdom at TCBC and beyond. Then SPEAK with Ruth (in the church office) of your willingness and where you feel led to serve. -
Our mentoring programme has started up again, with 23 students and mentors and another three mentors waiting to start. The teachers have been so enthusiastic about referring students with needs that we will still have 14 students waiting for a mentor and also require prayer partners as well. If you feel you could help in either of these areas, please contact Suzanne Crowfoot. -
Watchmen Night occurs on the second Friday of every month from 8pm to midnight in the Red House. The focus of Watchbeing is on prayer for the believers, however there is no set order to pray, but pray as lead by the Holy Spirit. There is no requirement to stay for the whole time - come when you can, go when you must.
