Small Groups in 2012
As a vital part of keeping small group life healthy and dynamic, we are wishing to implement a new strategy for group life.
We will put a table at the back of the church for the four Sundays in December, headed with the names of the small group leaders wishing to continue to lead, along with the time and locations of their regular meetings. People then can choose to put their names in the group of their choice, either because they:
- wish to affirm their commitment to the group of which they have been members, or
- would like to join a different group, or
- want to join a group for the first time.
The idea is that people have tore sign up for the coming year however, it allows them to leave a group and go to another if they wish.
We will have other sheets with “New Group” as the heading (with no leader’s names) and also a group called “Multigenerational”. We have some people who are willing to lead new groups.
