Philippians
Paul takes the opportunity to thank the Philippians for the generous gift that Epaphroditus had brought from them, to let them know about his spiritual prosperity (effectiveness, spiritual deliverance, joy, contentment) from living the daily plan of God even though he is in the center of severe testing and suffering in a Roman prison and to communicate revelation God has given him for the Philippian church and for the church at large.
The Philippians series looks at Paul’s message of grace, salvation, pursuing knowing Christ, stability, contentment and joy. Conducted from February to March, 2011.
