SNAP Parties (Saturday Night Awesome Primary) are for boys and girls in years 3–6! Everyone loves a party, especially kids. And even the adult and teenage leaders and helpers have a fantastic time while working extremely hard – they keep coming back for more!

SNAP parties are held twice a year with a fun theme, lots of friends, games, music, food, special guests, dressing up, noise, laughter, prizes – everyone has a great time as well as hearing a relevant Gospel message from an accomplished children’s presenter.

So far we have been challenged, entertained and taught by Johnny Burns, singer/songwriter, at our ‘P’ Party; our Back to the Future movie theme party and also our Y?-Y-NOT! party; Ringo the Clown at the Circus Time Party; QuizWorx puppets at the Monster Fun Unlimited Party, the Potato Party and the Teams R Us party; Graham Wade, artist and storyteller at the Wacky Water World Party, the Pig Out Party; and the Superheroes party. ‘The Shed’ puppet show at the Raging Red party, and Natalie Miller, amazing ventriloquist, at the Outa This World space party and again at the Kings, Queens and Battles’ Narnia theme party were definitely winners with the children, while Wes Champion, with his world-first digital puppet, had the children mesmerised at the Fantasy and Fiction party.

At our jjJ party, and also the M, M & M party, the children themselves gave fantastic drama presentations about stories of Jesus from the Bible, and there was lots more fun and laughter with Hamish, the outrageous wolf at the Way Out party, and Peter Wood the Magician at the Save the World Party.

For the Celebrate 10 Party, the kids heard a challenging talk from Cheryl Clendinning about being thankful to God for all he gives us. The Power Plus party with artist Phil Watson, and our latest Outback Oz party with dynamic drama duo – Karyn and Emma – keep the kids coming back for more each time.

The parties are held at the Activities Centre and run from 6.00– 8.00pm.
