John Reid – Interim Senior Pastor
John is lecturer in Pastoral and Practical Studies at Morling College after 28 years of pastoral work at Moree, Chester Hill, Ettalong Beach and Castle Hill. John’s areas of teaching at Morling include ministry formation, patterns for spiritual formation, contemporary trends in spirituality, pastoral care, and introduction to Christian worship. John is married to Janice who works as a music teacher. They have four married sons, three of whom are pastors and one is a renal specialist nurse. Janice and John have nine grandchildren and are members of a small church plant in the strategic suburb or Rouse Hill in Northwestern Sydney where they live. TCBC is delighted that John has joined us as our Interim Senior Pastor until January 2012.

Louise Pollock – Associate Pastor for Pastoral Care
Louise has a hunger and thirst that propels her to the heart of God and His Word. She longs to know and understand the heart of God and experience transformation through intimacy with God. Her prayer is that we might all, have a heart after the heart of God. Since graduating from Morling College in 1983 she has been involved in ministries that include Hospital Chaplaincy, Pastoral Care, Counselling, Spiritual Direction, Pastoral Ministry. Louise’s love of caring and equipping others in life is balanced with her love of movies, travel, photography, fishing, mahjong, calligraphy and attempting to become the next ‘MasterChef’. Sadly she is addicted to cappuccino dare and is far from proficient at basketball (especially slam dunking).

Sue Smith – Children’s Pastor
Sue’s passion is helping children to get to know Jesus as their friend, Saviour and King. She is married to Howard and they have 4 adult children and have been blessed with 11 grandchildren. In her ‘spare time’ she keeps sane by catching up with friends over coffee.

What we would like you to do is PRAY! Give thanks to God for the gifts and talents you have been blessed to have. ASK him what it is he would have you offer in service to His mission of building the Kingdom at TCBC and beyond. Then SPEAK with Ruth (in the church office) of your willingness and where you feel led to serve. -
Our mentoring programme has started up again, with 23 students and mentors and another three mentors waiting to start. The teachers have been so enthusiastic about referring students with needs that we will still have 14 students waiting for a mentor and also require prayer partners as well. If you feel you could help in either of these areas, please contact Suzanne Crowfoot. -
Watchmen Night occurs on the second Friday of every month from 8pm to midnight in the Red House. The focus of Watchbeing is on prayer for the believers, however there is no set order to pray, but pray as lead by the Holy Spirit. There is no requirement to stay for the whole time - come when you can, go when you must.
